How this works: Canon roles are overseen by staff. Contact a staff member to express interest in or to reserve a role. Be sure to tag an admin if using discord.
Be sure your character fits the requirements brief (race, alignment, responsibilities).
Every canon role gets to start with a custom tier one magic item.
You may propose tweaks—keep them lore-consistent.
There is an activity requirement of two posts a week for canon roles, as they are important plot fixtures.

The Councilor of Education & Culture is responsible for overseeing the educations and cultural information that is available to the masses. While history in of itself is tightly controlled, the arts, literature, and some sciences are encouraged. This councilor may oversee the perpetuation of propaganda and ensure the populace stays well within the Loom's neat lines.
The Councilor of Coin does exactly what the job title implies—this person is in charge of currency and the financial economy in Embrathis. This includes the Loom's supply to the population, taxes, and maintaining a precarious balance of needs between each class of the population. And in secret, they operate for the rebellion, keeping finances flowing as steadily as possible based around rebellion needs.
The Councilor of Justice is responsible for overseeing law enforcement, the court system, and though the whole council has say in it, coming up with much of the laws and punishments. They keep a firm fist around carrying out justice... often wielding it as a sword to cut through obstacles in front of the rebellion. As the leader of it, they walk on a knife's edge of risk.
Leader of the Sergekeepers, the Runeweaver works closely with the Runic Council to enforce Loom law and keep the streets of Embrathis safe for all citizens, overseeing the operations of the Sergekeepers as well as the maintenance and management of Oathwoven runes. More than a ceremoninal postion, they act as chief field commander in large-scale Keeper operations and the warden of Webwatch Fortress.
The glyph marshal plays an integral role within rebellion leadership. Taking charge of communications, they keep a tight leash on how word is passed between rebel cells, especially after the rebellion was betrayed and gutted three decades ago. The Organic glyphs around the city are strategically placed, and it is them that ensures that. Subterfuge falls under this umbrella.
The Mend Marshal plays an integral part of rebellion leadership, ensuring the survival of the rebellion on a physical level. Between detoxing rebels, making it appear as if they're still under its influence, and helping with masking potions to endure the Loom's dissection, and the general supply and demand of medical supplies to a hidden faction, this person's role in the rebellion is indispensable.
