Along Sunsnare Bay, the Lightlanding glitters with color, noise, and reflected sunlight, earning its name when the bay throws gold across its crowded boardwalks. Much of the waterfront stands high above the steep shoreline, climbing toward the Whisperwood in a maze of stairs, balconies, and brightly painted storefronts. Sailors call from docks built for everything from little fishing boats to towering ships; music and market chatter spill across the planks. Between them, canals wind toward the Embrathi River, where sturdy riverboats navigate the waters encircling the Farmlands. Even at dusk, the Lightlanding rarely quiets.
