While the greatest concentration of mines lies within the designated Mining Zone, active and abandoned operations can be found throughout the mountains, ranging from busy industrial sites to forgotten tunnels left behind after collapse, depletion, or disaster. Whether worked by miners or reclaimed by the dark, the mines remain dangerous places where unstable stone, deep shafts, and the creatures of the Marrows are never far away.
