He speaks like he’s already weighed every angle, and he moves through crisis with a calm that reads as confidence until you realize it’s also restraint. Publicly, he is law and order with a polished smile. Privately, he is the Rendwarden of the Unwound, carrying the rebellion like a second spine.

She is a sea-merchant with teeth, with a navigation brain, bookkeeping patience, and a laugh that usually means someone is about to get roasted. She is family-first to a fault, allergic to being alone, and extremely capable of turning “fine” into “fine, but with a hatchet.”
