The World At a Glance

Over 1000 years ago, a great ice age ravaged the world. Now Embrathis stands alone against the ruined backdrop of a forsaken world. With the help and protection of the Loom, humanity poured their ingenuity into a single city that remains to this day as a testament to its inhabitants' dogged determination to survive, no matter the cost.

Fragments of information provide a glimpse into a broader world now semi-forgotten and merely whispered about. But who is to say what is fact and what is a historian’s wishful thinking? For those who believe their eyes rather than the records of the long dead, what land there is to be seen outside of the protection of the boundary speaks of cataclysm and danger: the fringes of such a wasteland backing along the rain shadow of the Marrows and seldom viewed by anyone but the residents of Webwatch Fortress.
